About The Position

The Cashier/Food Prep position is responsible for providing friendly, efficient service to customers by greeting them, taking orders, preparing food, processing payments, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area. This role ensures that food is prepared to quality standards, beverages and condiments are replenished, and all health and safety regulations are followed in accordance with Food Safety and HACCP guidelines. Cash handling duties include operating a point-of-sale system, balancing the cash drawer, issuing receipts, and ensuring accurate transactions. The position also involves promoting products, maintaining a clean dining environment, and ensuring quick service to minimize customer wait times.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills
  • Prior experience in food service or cash handling
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to use hands repetitively
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
  • Must obtain ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
