About The Position

A Cashier/Food Prep team member is responsible for greeting customers, taking accurate orders, preparing food, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. The role requires adherence to Laguna Development Corporation policies, demonstrating professionalism, and delivering friendly, high‑quality service. Key duties include preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining sanitation standards, operating a point‑of‑sale system accurately, restocking products, promoting menu items, and ensuring fast, positive interactions with guests. The position also emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a respectful attitude toward both customers and coworkers. The job requires basic math skills, some fast‑food or cash‑handling experience, and the ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and reaching. Employees must operate kitchen and beverage equipment, maintain knowledge of services and amenities, and foster a collaborative, customer‑focused environment. Additional requirements include passing a pre‑employment drug/alcohol screening and obtaining a Serv‑Safe Certification within 90 days. The role is performed indoors in a restaurant setting and includes other duties as assigned.
