About The Position

Our franchise organization, BOTH Inc Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly CASHIERS/CURBSIDE ASSISTANTS to join our team! Part-time and Full-time positions are available with AM and PM shifts, and flexible scheduling. The Cashier / Host / Curbside Assistant interactions with our guests are critical moments in the guest’s experience, as lasting impressions are formed during these moments, ultimately dictating whether the guest will return. This role involves greeting guests, processing orders, handling payments accurately, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Requirements

Cashier Experience required
Position requires standing and walking 3 to 4 hours without a rest break.
Regular, moderate (1-35 lbs.) lifting and carrying; bending and reaching is required.
A forceful grip is required for the use of tools such as cash register, drink dispenser and glasses.

Responsibilities

Greets guests as they enter the restaurant and offers a sincere, personal invitation to return as the guests leave.
Offers assistance to guests who may need help, including seating guests at peak times.
Processes internet and phone food orders for curbside pickup.
Processes To-Go orders for guests who come into select their own food from the buffet.
Friendly and courteous on the phone.
Handles payments accurately.
Knows and follows position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery.
Knows what is on buffet for the day and has a full knowledge of menu and prices.
Maintains organization and cleanliness at the vestibule, host/cashier station and surrounding areas.
May help ensure the buffet is set up properly and labels are correct. Cleans all buffets and surrounding areas.
Assists the Buffet Attendant when necessary.
Follows local health department laws.
Performs duty roster and ensures cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met.
Informs the Manager when the money in the drawer needs to be taken to the safe to reduce the risk of robbery.
Ensures drawer balances with daily paperwork.
