There are 3 different location assignments for Curbside Servers. Depending on the day and staffing levels, you may be responsible for 1, 2, or even all 3 positions CURB LOCATION DUTIES >The Curb position refers to the person running completed bagged orders to guests. >Organize receipts and staple them to completed bags by matching check numbers of expo slips to receipts. >Take credit card or cash payments car-side as necessary. >Verify the guest’s name and order curbside before handing the bag to the guest. >Keep an organized, running list of guests/cars that are waiting to pickup. >Be present in curbside room at all times to watch for cars or answer curbside calls. >Greet guests when they arrive in their cars. Communicate with guests about their order status. >Communicate with Bagger about which orders are ready to come to the front. PHONES LOCATION DUTIES >Answer all phone calls within 2 rings >Have knowledge of the phone system functions to transfer, hold, and page calls. >Take orders and ring them in POSI >Must have strong working knowledge of the entire menu to ask guests leading questions >Take payment over the phone >Keep credit card receipts organized in drawer >Possess superior phone etiquette. Respond to any inquiries knowledgeably BAG LOCATION DUTIES >Accurately Bag all To-Go orders >Communicate with the kitchen staff about timing of food and/or items you still need. >Keep calm under pressure. >Communicate with the Curb person about which orders are ready to go to the front.
