About The Position

Performs duties in connection with operating a fully automated self-service gasoline station. The position accepts cash or credit card payments, provides necessary change, and assists customers. Responsibilities

Monitor the operation of a fully automated self-service gasoline station equipped with electrically controlled pumps.
Use remote controls to reset pumps following purchases.
Accept cash or credit card payments for products sold and make change as necessary.
May be responsible for a change fund and operate a cash register.
May record gas pump readings at the beginning and end of work shifts, as appropriate.
Keep the work area free of debris and wash down gas pumps.
Observe fire and safety rules and regulations.
Serve and assist customers with tact, good manners, and courtesy; respond tactfully to patron inquiries and assist patrons promptly and in a friendly manner.
May operate a government vehicle in connection with assigned tasks.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
