About The Position

The Cashier Associate delivers a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained to work in multiple store areas to meet business needs. Availability must include nights and weekends; shifts may be scheduled within a window from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and holiday hours are to be determined.

Responsibilities

• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and help maintain and clean the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
