About The Position

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Specialist to manage daily cash transactions, reconcile accounts, and support financial operations. The role ensures accurate recording of payments, investigates discrepancies, and maintains compliance with company financial procedures. The Cash Specialist works with accounting, accounts receivable, and treasury teams, and communicates with customers and banks about payment issues. The position also supports collections, cash forecasting, and month-end and year-end closing activities.

Requirements

1–3 years of accounting, cash application, or finance experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Process and post customer payments, wire transfers, ACH payments, and checks.
Reconcile daily cash activity and bank statements.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Monitor outstanding balances and support collections activities.
Prepare cash reports and assist with forecasting.
Coordinate with accounting, accounts receivable, and treasury teams.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Communicate with customers and banks regarding payment issues.
