About The Position

Valley View is seeking full-time Cash Reimbursement Specialists to assist our Patient Financial Services and Central Billing Offices teams. This is a hybrid position, requiring on-site work for one week every other month. The role involves researching and preparing contractual and policy adjustments to accounts daily, ensuring accurate payments from managed care providers, and accurate receipting of payments. Cash processing of daily bank deposits is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

Good credit rating
2 years/associate degree. (4 years Accounting and/or Billing and Collection experience can substitute for degree requirement.)
Less than one year of experience
Organizational experience
Mathematical skills
Analytical skills
Good Grammar/Spelling
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
Ability to follow verbal instructions
Computer skills: Meditech, PC Windows, Excel, SSI, Optical Storage System, Logging System
Clerical/ten-key skills
Reimbursement methodology compliance
Eligible to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available)

Responsibilities

Researches and prepares contractual and policy adjustments to accounts daily.
