About The Position

Penske Automotive Group is looking for a Cash Receipts Clerk to join their team and support business operations in the accounting department. The role involves overall cash management for area dealerships, obtaining, entering, and maintaining cash transactions from varying departments. Portions of the position will be focused on data entry and other clerical responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and computer skills relevant to a Cash Receipts Clerk position.
  • At least one year of recent applicable experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Able to use computer and demonstrate proficiency with 10-Key Machine.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and works well in a team environment.
  • Light Work- lifting no more than 20 pounds at a time and/or frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • This position requires long periods of sitting and could from time to time have extended walking or standing.
  • This position requires the ability to push, pull, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp.
  • This position involves repetitive motion.
  • This position requires the ability to talk and hear.
  • Associate degree or equivalent; and six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
