Cash Posting Representative - Cashier
About The Position

As our Cashier, you will be responsible for receiving and disbursing money for services and preparing daily deposits. This person will count money, prepare deposits daily, receive payments via cash, credit, or check, and will issue receipts and change to customers. They will need to reconcile all collections and deposits to ensure accuracy. To thrive in this role candidates will ensure that daily deposits are completed and accurate for the accounting department and have strong customer service skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with others and outside agencies
- Ability to work collaboratively
Responsibilities
- Receiving and disbursing money for services and preparing daily deposits.
- Counting money, preparing deposits daily, receiving payments via cash, credit, or check, and issuing receipts and change to customers.
- Reconciling all collections and deposits to ensure accuracy.
- Ensuring accuracy for daily deposits and ensuring information is appropriately logged.
- Coordinating daily deposit pick up activities.
