About The Position

This Cash Operations Administrator role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in RBC's cash processing operations. You will execute cash processing for RBC Investor Services (IS) clients across all segments, gaining hands-on experience with diverse client instructions and operational workflows. Working closely with internal teams, you'll develop expertise in accurate and timely processing while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. You'll establish yourself as a reliable operational professional, building the skills and knowledge necessary for career advancement.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience executing cash processing activities with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize workload, meet end-of-day deadlines, and manage multiple instructions simultaneously
  • Strong focus on ensuring completeness and accuracy of all processing activities and client instructions
  • Capability to identify processing gaps, escalate issues appropriately, and contribute to resolving recurring problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to effectively coordinate with internal teams, escalate issues clearly, and ensure positive client experiences
  • Working knowledge of RBC Express, BESS, TRUST, and MILVUS platforms to execute daily cash processing operations

Responsibilities

  • Handle cash processing tasks for RBC ITS clients across all business segments accurately and on time and follow established workflows and timelines to process client requests in compliance with procedures
  • Achieve pre-set performance benchmarks measuring service quality and operational effectiveness
  • Prioritize instructions to ensure accurate processing and completion before end-of-day deadlines
  • Identify missing information in instructions, escalate problems appropriately, and work to resolve recurring issues
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and suggest enhancements to optimize operations
  • Identify processing gaps and provide coverage support as needed to maintain service continuity
