Cash Applications Specialist - Part-Time
About The Position
Uline is looking for a Part-Time Cash Applications Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring seamless financial transactions and maintaining account accuracy for our growing North American company! This is a part-time position with hours ranging from 15-20 per week, with required availability on Mondays and Fridays, and additional availability on Thursdays being a plus. Uline is a family-owned company and North America's leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials with over 10,000 employees across 15 locations. Uline is a drug-free workplace. All new hires must complete a pre-employment hair follicle drug screening. All positions are on-site.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication and typing skills with excellent attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Accounts receivable or banking experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Process customer checks, electronic payments and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Maintain department reports, including account analysis, reconciliations and accounting adjustments.
- Review payment data from third-party partners and match to customer accounts.
