About The Position
Capital Health is seeking a Cash Application Supervisor to review, monitor, and supervise the cash application process, ensuring its complete, accurate, and proper performance. This role also involves performing cash application duties as required. The supervisor will oversee the cash application process and cash posting, acting as a quality assurance reviewer to ensure work is accurate and timely. They will monitor work lists to prevent aging, lead daily departmental activities in the absence of the Manager, and assist cashiers to ensure correct and timely posting and balancing of cash. Additionally, the supervisor will complete ERA/EFT documentation for new payors and adapt to changing departmental demands.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years’ experience with cash posting, one of which is in a supervisory position, in a healthcare setting.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities
- Reviews, monitors and discusses cash applications issues with staff to ensure complete, accurate and proper performance as directed by Cash Applications Manager.
- Performs cash application functions as required.
- Oversees cash application process and cash posting.
- Acts as a quality assurance reviewer to ensure work completed is accurate and timely.
- Monitors timely cash application work lists to prevent aging.
- Leads daily departmental activities in absence of Manager.
- Assists cashiers to ensure that cash is posted correctly and timely and balances at end of day.
- Completes ERA/EFT documentation for new payors.
- Performs other duties as assigned and adapts to changing departmental demands.
