About The Position

Pathways Forward is seeking an experienced and compassionate Caseworker Supervisor I to lead our Adult Blended Case Management team. This leadership position is responsible for providing clinical and administrative supervision, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting staff development, and promoting high-quality services for individuals receiving mental health case management services throughout Dauphin County. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Gerontology, Anthropology, Political Science, History, Criminal Justice, Theology, Counseling, Education, or Registered Nurse; and Five (5) years of mental health direct care experience, including at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • OR Bachelor's degree in Nursing; and Three (3) years of mental health direct care experience.
  • Reliable transportation and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Pennsylvania Act 33 and Act 34 Clearances.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with staff, providers, and community partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation, Activity Therapies, Counseling, or Education.
  • Three (3) years of mental health direct care experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership to Adult and Children's Blended Case Managers.
  • Orient, train, mentor, and evaluate case management staff.
  • Monitor staff productivity, documentation, and compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to Pennsylvania Targeted Case Management regulations and PerformCare Provider Manual requirements.
  • Review service plans, documentation, confidentiality practices, and required client contacts.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for Blended Case Management services.
  • Coordinate services with internal departments and community providers.
  • Lead regular team meetings and provide clinical consultation to case managers.
  • Assist with hiring, staffing recommendations, and personnel matters.
  • Maintain professional relationships with community agencies, providers, and Dauphin County Mental Health representatives.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and other required documentation.
  • Participate in agency planning, management initiatives, and quality improvement activities.
  • Provide supervisory on-call coverage and support 24/7 service responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
