About The Position

This position is responsible for monitoring an assigned caseload of clients participating in short-term life management. The Case Worker establishes program plans/goals and evaluates client progress by conducting routine meetings with clients and/or staff. Key responsibilities include interviewing applicants based on established guidelines and requirements, conducting needs assessments, obtaining pertinent information, and establishing program goals for eligible clients. The role involves developing intake and case plans for all assigned clients, instructing clients in completing necessary paperwork, and meeting regularly with clients to discuss and evaluate their progress. The Case Worker will prepare accurate and up-to-date records, receive incident reports, and enforce disciplinary actions for infractions of house guidelines.

Requirements

  • Two years of college coursework from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or a related field, AND Two years experience working in a social or public service environment with experience assisting the public OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate the English and Spanish languages.
  • Valid State Drivers License.
  • Requires a level 2 background screening.
