Case Worker
About The Position
St. Francis Community Services strives to be a catalyst for change by helping people overcome poverty and work toward a better life. St. Francis provides legal aid, youth programs, bilingual mental health counseling, case management and more. Job Summary The employee will follow direct instructions from the YP Manager, and the YP Family Companion and support them in supervising the children, and the implementation of reading and social and emotional exercises. Job responsibilities also include helping students with their homework and communicating with the children’s parents. Spanish is not mandatory, but is preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, human services, or another related field OR High School Diploma or GED equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in volunteer management and education.
- Bilingual (oral and written) Spanish and English is preferred.
- Teaching experience or community/group development experience with students and families.
- Must submit to a pre-employment screening including criminal background check, Family Care Safety Registration, drug screen, employment and education verification, and Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination.
- Various positions will require physical examination, Tuberculosis screening and Hepatitis A.

- Spanish is preferred.
