About The Position

The Case Picker uses pallet jack equipment to assemble customer orders while following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures, and delivers product to the required area. The listed shift is 4:00 AM–2:30 PM, four 10-hour days, with weekends required. The posting lists pay of $20–$22 per hour depending on experience, plus a $4–$9 pick incentive; it also lists a pay range of $16.97–$28.65. Requirements

Basic math skills.
Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to give voice commands in English may be required.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kg; required weight may be greater depending on the facility.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Comfort working with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

Perform pre-use inspections on pallet jack equipment.
Mark materials with identifying information.
Open boxes and other containers when necessary.
Pick products and verify the correct selection of lot numbers and product codes.
Record material amounts using site-specific equipment to update inventory.
Arrange stock parts in a specific order for assembly.
Communicate damaged products to inventory staff or a lead/supervisor.
Deliver product to the required area.
Work with other machinery and material-handling equipment.
