The contributor is responsible for working on their feet, using an RF gun to locate and pick product to a pallet, or to an overpack case. Responsible for building pallets, breaking down pallets as needed, moving inventory from drop zones using a walkie-rider or pallet jack and de-staging product into Pick Mod. The contributor will be directed by the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to complete daily activities using RF equipment, pick to light technologies, or computer-based workstations. Work may occur in various distribution areas including Receiving, Case Pick Modules, Shipping, Returns, DEA, Freezer, and Refrigerated spaces. Responsibilities include picking case quantities and building pallets for extended periods, picking replenishments in the Refrigerator and Freezer, retrieving replenishments from drop zones and delivering to pick modules using a pallet jack, operating a powered stretch-wrap machine, building and breaking down pallets, and performing cycle counts to verify inventory levels. Frequent WMS tasks include receiving incoming materials, counting, sorting, verification of item numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, data entry, and other visual verifications. The role requires the ability to use a pallet jack and may involve training on a walkie-rider. Good housekeeping practices and maintaining a safe work environment are essential. Participation in user training, including hands-on training, material handling safety, WMS navigation, and SOPs, is expected, as is assisting with the training of new employees.
