The associate is responsible for working on their feet, using an RF gun to locate and pick product to a pallet, or to an overpack case. Responsible for building pallets, breaking down pallets as needed, moving inventory from drop zones using a walkie-rider or pallet jack and de-staging product into Pick Mod. The associate will be responsible for following system direction to complete daily activities using RF equipment, pick to light technologies, or computer-based workstations. They may work in various distribution areas including Receiving, Case Pick Modules, Shipping, Returns, DEA, Freezer, and Refrigerated spaces. The role involves picking case quantities, building pallets, picking replenishments in refrigerated areas, retrieving replenishments from drop zones, operating a powered stretch-wrap machine, and performing cycle counts. Frequent WMS tasks include receiving, counting, sorting, verification of item numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, data entry, and visual verifications. The role requires maintaining good housekeeping and a safe work environment, participating in training, and assisting with training new employees. A focus on quality and accuracy is essential, along with displaying Caring, Honesty, Accountability, Respect, and Trust (CHART).
