About The Position

DSV, founded in 1976 by ten independent hauliers in Denmark, has grown to become the world's 3rd largest supplier of global solutions within transport and logistics. The company adds value to customers' entire supply chain by transporting, storing, packaging, re-packaging, processing, and clearing all types of goods, operating from offices in over 80 countries. The Layer Pick Operator will be a crucial part of the Spirit Distribution Center (SDC) team, managing and coordinating both inbound receiving and outbound picking tasks. This includes processing outbound orders using DMS or manually on Wrist units/Computers, handling inbound product receipts, coordinating with internal CSR teams and management, and ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

Follow established parameters for Receiving/Picking/XDOCK areas respectively
Process sort and prep all deliveries arriving at SDC and routed to the correct destination
Receive and process all incoming deliveries to stock correctly based on system locations and parameters
Pick and Pack orders according to work orders and instructions
Process orders accurately and timely in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Maintain the highest integrity when processing orders in the WMS
Ensure proper care and safeguarding of all computer equipment in possession
Ensure proper prep, care and safeguarding of all customer parts in possession
Handle and process orders under control accurately and within established timeframes
Make efforts to prep and process all orders/waves promptly
Notify Lead or Supervisor of any problems encountered during operations
5S and maintain level of cleanliness outlined by area within the warehouse and job function areas
