About The Position

Pemberton Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and organized Case Manager ready to step into a rewarding and high-volume caseload. The ideal Case Manager is someone who loves staying organized in a fast-moving environment. They juggle a high volume of cases, shifting priorities, and frequent interruptions while maintaining accuracy and exceptional client service. We're looking for someone who is very detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to think critically while keeping up with a busy workload. Just as importantly, they must bring compassion, patience, and empathy to every client interaction, helping individuals through some of the most challenging times in their lives. The ideal Case Manager is someone who thrives in a place where no two days are the same and enjoys balancing people, multiple priorities, and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • At least 1–5 years of experience delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong typing and writing skills with attention to accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent phone skills, including professionalism and the ability to communicate with clients compassionately and patiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; works well with others in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to handle a high volume of casework and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, compassion, and empathy towards clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with backgrounds in sales, retail, hospitality, or similar customer-facing fields are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience as a legal case manager or in a comparable role is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a high volume of personal injury cases from inception to resolution, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing their concerns with compassion and patience.
  • Gather and organize case-related documents, including medical records, accident reports, and insurance information.
  • Request, review, and document evidence.
  • Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other parties involved in the case.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate case files in the firm's case management system.
  • Assist attorneys with the preparation of legal documents, such as demand letters.
  • Organize, scan, and file mail, email, and fax correspondence.
  • Provide support to the phone-answering team, fielding and transferring calls, and taking accurate messages.
  • Schedule and facilitate client appointments and calls with attorneys.
