About The Position

The Embracing Project (TEP) is a Rite of Passage program advocating peace and healing for youth survivors of violence, sexual exploitation, and trafficking, through the development of specialized programs, trauma-informed care, and unconditional support. As a Case Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for the youth we serve while building a career rich in growth opportunities and self-fulfillment.

Requirements

Fluent in Spanish preferred
Have a desire to work with troubled teens
Have a BA/BS in a related field
Have prior case management experience, preferably 3 years with youth and/or juvenile placement agencies
21 years of age
Pass criminal background check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
Must be able to pass a search of the Child Abuse Central Registry.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual, Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

Administering, developing, and facilitating the completion of case plans and treatment programs.
Conducting meetings with youth addressing issues such as Anger Management, Basic Skills, and Education.
Providing monthly progress notes and weekly student updates.
Facilitating weekly group meetings, multi-disciplinary team meetings, and parent/guardian meetings.
Interacting with youth, parents/guardians, community-based organizations, and governmental agencies.
Conducting assigned responsibilities with respect, consideration, encouragement, positive guidance, and utilization of resources towards the youths’ overall success.
