About The Position

Performs a variety of services for the Juvenile Day Reporting Center, including supervision of program participants to ensure their compliance with court ordered conditions and program requirements. Conducts curfew checks, school visits and home visits on clients in the program. Performs and responds to crisis intervention services for youth and their families. Refers clients to programming to assist in areas of needs identified at intake with families. Suitability of these case managers working with at risk youth. Write court reports, and keeping themselves available to testify in court proceedings as needed. Keeps records and case files in order with attendance record, etc. Performs related duties as required.

Requirements

• Associates/Technical degree with coursework in human services, criminology, substance abuse, criminal justice, or related field.
• Less than one-year experience working with the public, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license.
• Good driving record.
• Transportation for use at work.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required within the first 6 months of employment.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
