About The Position

The Case Manager conducts conferences with involved parties to gather earnings and medical information, which is then populated within the Pennsylvania Child Support Enforcement System (PACSES) to recommend an appropriate amount of child and/or spousal support to be paid upon the filing of a complaint. This role also conducts conferences when petitions are filed for increase, decrease, and termination; prepares court documents and attends court hearings; maintains oversight of cases; tracks missed payments and monitors enforcement remedies; prepares cases for court; and completes necessary paperwork.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two years' related administrative experience.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Effective interpersonal relations and communications skills (both verbal and written).
  • Basic math skills.
  • Proofreading skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience maintaining confidentiality.
  • Experience leading, motivating, and working closely with people of all backgrounds.
  • Skills to elicit information in emotional situations.
  • Demonstrated experience setting schedules and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience juggling multiple priorities.
  • Computer literacy.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in criminal justice, paralegal training, social work, sociology, psychology, or other directly related field.
