Nourishing Hope is a Chicago nonprofit agency that provides food, social services (job and housing assistance), and free mental wellness counseling. Founded in 1970, Nourishing Hope serves the whole person with respect and dignity. They offer nutritious food through a choice-based distribution model and social services including case management, mental health counseling, job search support, domestic violence intervention, referrals, and public benefits assistance. The organization serves tens of thousands of people annually, providing millions of meals and social services to thousands of low-income neighbors. The Bilingual Case Manager primarily supports the effective delivery of Nourishing Hope’s social services programming. This includes connecting neighbors to critical supports like transportation, housing, and benefits; stakeholder engagement; data tracking and reporting; and quality assurance. The role acts as a liaison to neighbors, volunteers, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure a dignified and respectful experience in alignment with Nourishing Hope’s Core Values.
