About The Position

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Case Manager at Sierra Sage Treatment Center in Yerington, Nevada. Sierra Sage Treatment Center offers residential treatment for young women in a safe, supportive, nurturing environment. Through accredited education, vocational training and a normalized high school experience, our youth women are given the skills they need to overcome the effects of abuse, neglect, trauma substance abuse, mental illness and violence so they can make healthy choices for themselves and their futures. After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, we are looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults. As a Case Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to create a positive, safe and supportive environment for the youth we serve while building a career rich in growth opportunities and self-fulfillment.

Requirements

Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect
Have a desire to work with troubled teens
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a Bachelor's degree or 2-5 years' experience
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Responsibilities

Administering, developing, and facilitating the completion of case plans and treatment programs in accordance with the requests of the placing agency and the needs of each student on their caseload.
Serves as a liaison between the client, parents/legal guardian, and placing agency officials.
Completes required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
Provides management with required reports.
Advises of any problematic situations.
