About The Position

Friends Hospital is the nation's oldest private psychiatric hospital, located on a beautiful 100-acre campus in Philadelphia, PA. Friends Hospital offers a continuum of care including level of care assessments; specially designed inpatient units for adolescents, adults, and older adults; and a private residential rehabilitation program. Friends Hospital is easily accessed via public transportation and has free, safe, on-site parking. The Case Manager: provides quality case management and qualified professional support and services to inpatient social workers as assigned; works with local agency and service providers to facilitate sending and receiving collateral information, treatment referrals, and ongoing communications to support patient’s successful inpatient treatment and discharge. Full-time, permanent night shift position onsite at Friends Hospital.

Requirements

A graduate of a college, or university with a Masters degree in a human services field and has one year of full-time, post graduate accumulated mental health experience with the population served and a substance abuse professional shall have one year of full-time post-graduate accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling
