The Link works with youth and young families to overcome the impacts of poverty and social injustice. Our 23 programs provide supportive housing, intensive case management services, and skills development to youth at risk of or experiencing homelessness, sex trafficking and/or involvement in the juvenile justice system. The Link prides itself on its innovative, youth-centered, strengths-based programming for youth and families as well as programs that are co-designed, implemented and overseen by youth. This position is responsible for the case management for The Link’s Passageways Emergency Shelter and Program which provides emergency shelter for youth who have been commercially sexually exploited. The Case Manager will ensure high quality case management and programming, including groups and social and recreational activities. The Case Manager is responsible for working directly with commercially sexually exploited and trafficked young people, ages 12-17, who have experienced homelessness, trauma and disenfranchisement and who will need high level case management supports to assist them in progressing toward their goals and accessing resources and services needed to stabilize and recover. In addition to case management the Case Manager is responsible for developing, supporting and implementing youth programming that is culturally competent and grounded in positive youth development, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care.
