About The Position

At Dungarvin, we are a national provider of support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with mental health, behavioral, and complex medical needs. Our mission, since 1976, is to respect and respond to the choices of people in need of supports, empowering them to live meaningful lives on their own terms. We operate across fifteen states, delivering flexible, high-quality services through Medicaid and Community Support Waivers. The Case Manager Supervisor position involves fulfilling all duties of a case manager, monitoring and evaluating the case management program, coordinating services, and assisting persons with disabilities in coordinating needed and desired services. This role functions as an educator and resource, responsible for training and supervising case management staff. The supervisor participates in management leadership, fiscal responsibilities, and ensures quality and compliance. They also contribute to the development and implementation of the organization’s Plan, promote case management services, and engage in relevant committees, conferences, and organizations. In conjunction with the case manager department supervisor, this role monitors and ensures the implementation of company policies and procedures related to personnel and service delivery, and implements quality assurance standards. The Case Manager Supervisor is expected to act professionally and represent the interests of the individuals they support.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a human service-related field
  • Two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities or aging
  • Knowledge of the local community resources available
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge in case management principles, procedures and practices
  • Demonstrates adaptability to performing a variety of duties, occasionally changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve conflict between dissenting parties
  • Ability to conduct detailed analytical evaluations and studies and prepare related reports and recommendations
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Proof of automobile insurance
  • Meet the qualifications of an unlimited driver (requires driving a motor vehicle as a part of Dungarvin work, including vehicles owned or leased by Dungarvin, and/or to drive a vehicle in which a person served is transported)

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill all job duties associated with the case manager job description
  • Monitor and evaluate the case management program
