About The Position

The Case Manager Supervisor provides direct supervision of all Transitional Housing Case Managers, Family Housing and Permanent Support Housing Case Managers. Work includes collaboration with other departments and leaders, guest grievance resolution, training and direction to staff engaged in case management, tenant support and resource acquisition on behalf of those served in Breakthrough’s program.

Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree preferred in a Human services field.
Must have a minimum of two years supervisory experience or equivalent leadership experience that can be demonstrated to be applicable to the duties listed in the job description.
Strong knowledge of program outcomes and deliverables
Ability to relate well to and coordinate with guests and program participants & promote customer care through all actions and behaviors
Must be able to develop and articulate a strategic vision for the program area
Project a professional image to all internal and external customers ensuring correct grooming
Ability to demonstrate initiative and follow through, and be comfortable working in a changing environment.
Demonstrates willingness to consistently improve work performance
Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and problem-solving ability.
Must have the ability to use initiative, discretion and independent judgment in making decisions.

Sound administrative skills including strong computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Google Drive
Must possess an accurate and informed understanding of cultural and urban realities, especially as related to youth, families, poverty, and community development.

Must complete a criminal background and sex offender clearance prior to the first day of work.

Responsibilities

Supervise, manage, monitor, train and coordinate the activities of all assigned staff using approved performance management processes and policies.
Knowledge, implementation & ability to train team on all service delivery models
Provides detailed statistical and narrative reports to the Program Director.
Attends meetings with related external program partners and internal departments.
Completes reports for funding agency on a routine basis.
Ensures all staff data is entered into the database daily.
Establishes and implements a system of internal quality management tracking and monitoring
Independently follows agency policy and procedures
Complete any other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned and required
Follows through with commitments including meeting established timelines
Identifies and resolves difficult issues with staff and/or the Director of Housing Programs; and develops and implements immediate corrective action plans.
