As a Housing Case Manager, you will play an important role in helping women (trans-inclusive) who reside in the YWCA NENY housing program navigate their path toward stability and independence. Our residents come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, including survivors of domestic violence, individuals experiencing homelessness or extreme poverty, people living with mental health challenges, individuals in recovery, people returning to the community following incarceration, and others who have experienced significant barriers to stable housing. This is meaningful, relationship-centered work. You will build trust with residents, help them identify goals, connect them with resources, advocate alongside them, and celebrate progress, both big and small. If you believe stable housing can be a foundation for a better future, this role gives you the opportunity to put that belief into action every day.
