About The Position

Job Duck is seeking a highly organized and proactive Bilingual Personal Injury Virtual Case Manager to serve as a key support partner to a supervising attorney. In this role, you will help manage active personal injury cases, coordinate deadlines and documentation, communicate with clients and external parties, and provide day to day litigation support. The ideal candidate is confident, assertive, and comfortable taking ownership of important tasks, including proactively reminding the attorney about deadlines and outstanding matters. This position is well suited for someone who can work independently, communicate effectively in English and Spanish, and understands that strong organization and attention to detail are essential to keeping cases moving forward.

  • Working Hours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday
  • Previous Personal Injury experience is required
  • Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are required
  • Experience with case management systems and document management is required
  • Experience supporting personal injury cases and working directly with attorneys is strongly preferred
  • Must be comfortable communicating with clients, supervising attorneys, insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, and court personnel
  • Must be confident managing deadlines and proactively communicating when important tasks or deadlines require attention
  • Expected call volume: 16 to 30 calls per day

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain complete and organized case records.
  • Assist with trial preparation and organization of case materials.
  • Assist with drafting pleadings and responding to discovery requests.
  • Assist with electronic court filings and preparation of legal filings.
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, court personnel, medical providers, and other parties involved in active cases.
  • Organize and manage case documents and electronic files.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case notes and information within Filevine.
  • Serve as a key support partner and right hand to the supervising attorney.
  • Monitor case deadlines and proactively alert the attorney about upcoming or missed deadlines and important outstanding tasks.
  • Manage and maintain assigned Personal Injury cases throughout the case lifecycle.
  • Support the legal team with additional case management and paralegal tasks as needed.
  • Proactively identify issues, missing information, or upcoming deadlines and bring them to the attorney’s attention.
  • Follow up on outstanding documentation, requests, deadlines, and case related tasks.
  • Provide ongoing support to the supervising attorney throughout the litigation process.
  • Request, collect, organize, and manage medical records and billing documentation.
  • Provide translation and interpretation support when needed.
  • Communicate with clients in English and Spanish regarding case related matters.
  • Manage calendars and coordinate appointments for the staffer and supervising attorney.
