Put your courtroom skills to work representing clients throughout Northwest Indiana. At Hensley Legal Group, our attorneys take ownership of their own personal injury caseloads, work directly with clients, and have the support and resources needed to take cases from filing through resolution—and to trial when that's what the case demands. Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.)
- Active law license in good standing in Indiana
- Litigation experience; personal injury experience strongly preferred
- Strong legal writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Trial experience or a genuine desire to build and sharpen your trial skills
- Strong judgment, accountability, and ability to take ownership of your cases
- Client-first mindset and strong communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Indiana and Illinois licenses are a plus
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage your own personal injury litigation caseload from filing through resolution or trial
- Develop case strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and case value
- Communicate directly with clients and guide them through the litigation process
- Handle written and oral discovery, motions, pleadings, and other litigation matters
- Take and defend depositions
- Work with medical providers, witnesses, and expert professionals to develop evidence
- Attend mediations and negotiate settlements
- Prepare cases for trial and advocate for your clients in the courtroom when needed
- Partner with your paralegal to keep cases moving and clients informed
