About The Position

At NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, our mental health professionals unite the most respected minds in research, education and care. Our diverse upper Manhattan campus is home to over 400 faculty members. Our interdisciplinary services include a range of programs from prevention to intensive outpatient care and treatment collaboration with medical providers across the institution. Our Pediatric Behavioral Health team is seeking a Case Manager to support our pediatric population. Serve as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing systems care coordination, targeted referrals and case management, and supportive engagement for pediatric patients and their families presenting with emergent mental health needs. Seeking candidates with strong patient engagement skills, efficient organizational skills, and investment in teamwork. Experience working in the areas of child abuse and intimate partner violence is an integral part of this role as well as community engagement and attending community events. Position is full time and bilingual Spanish speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree in Social Work, Psychology or equivalent from a recognized college or university
  • Strong patient engagement skills
