About The Position

The Case Manager II works with a team of staff to facilitate creating a safe, healing environment for guests in a Christian residential program. This role is part of a 24-hour team that provides advocacy-based and spiritual counseling, information, referral, and support services to program guests. The scheduled hours are Monday – Friday, with a flexible start time between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, ending between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM. The target starting pay is $27.42/hour.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred. A combination of education and three years of relatable experience may be substituted.
  • Three years of experience working in a social services or rescue mission setting with minimum one year in a Case Manager role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Him.
  • Faithfully upholds The Mission and your team in prayer.
  • Participates in team devotions as schedule permits.
  • Demonstrates behavior aligned with the Mission’s Statement of Faith, Standard of Conduct, policies, and expectations.
  • Effectively represents Jesus Christ to a diverse audience, including our Mission teams, our volunteers, guests and homeless neighbors.
  • Must be able to pass a 4-panel drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience in a social service, recovery, or rescue mission setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process the intake assessments and screening of guests.
  • Manage a caseload of individual guests in an addiction recovery program.
  • Meet with guests weekly and maintain all electronic and paper guest files.
  • Provide crisis intervention information, chemical dependency case management, and referral help.
  • Communicate with all staff through the Client Tracker (CT11).
  • Help coordinate and facilitate support groups, Bible studies, addiction recovery curriculum, and classes.
  • Administer observed urine collections for guests as needed.
  • Perform welfare checks in guest residences and restrooms.
  • Help maintain a positive, pleasant, and Christian atmosphere at the facility.
  • Help maintaining the safety and cleanliness of facility.
  • Participate in organizational meetings, training, and initiatives as required.
  • Perform other duties assigned to support the Mission’s success.
