Nourishing Hope is a Chicago nonprofit agency that provides food, social services (job and housing assistance), and free mental wellness counseling. Founded in 1970, Nourishing Hope serves the whole person with respect and dignity. They offer nutritious food through a choice-based distribution model and social services including case management, mental health counseling, job search support, domestic violence intervention, referrals, and public benefits assistance. The organization serves tens of thousands of people annually, providing millions of meals and extensive social services. The Bilingual Case Manager's primary role is to support the effective delivery of social services programming, connecting neighbors to critical supports, engaging stakeholders, tracking data, and ensuring quality assurance. This role acts as a liaison to ensure a dignified and respectful experience for all. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The primary work location is Nourishing Hope’s Sheridan Market (3945 N Sheridan), with one day per week at El Mercadito (3533 W. North Avenue). This is an onsite position with a maximum of one remote day per week. Periodic presence at other onsite locations may be required based on programmatic needs.
