About The Position

Responsible for greeting clients as they arrive; processing co-payments; performing light clerical duties; and securing the office at close of business in support of the Lakeshore Counseling Center program. This is an evening and weekend part-time position based upon scheduled appointments each week. Job will have alternate hours due to assisting with after-hours program Lakeshore Counseling Center.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D, appropriate college and/or vocational coursework desirable; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in a similar role preferred
  • Moderate level of computer literacy
  • Knowledge of office equipment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Current driver’s license issued by state of residence
  • Must be able to pass a criminal history investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for greeting clients as they arrive for their session/collecting copayments upon arrival
  • Sending new client paperwork through portal and assisting new clients with completing questions regarding enrollment
  • Responsible for handling phone calls
  • Ensuring all necessary paperwork is signed and collected from the client prior to scheduling of appointment
  • Back up verifying insurance for clients for LCC
  • Work closely with full-time and contract counselors regarding schedule availability, scheduling conflicts, and initial/follow-up appointments are made in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Responsible for verifying and confirming next day/evening appointments; ensuring that counselors are aware of next day schedule
  • Responsible for securing the office at close of business
  • Sending tele-links and collecting copayment for telehealth appointments
  • Perform front desk duties on assigned days and times according to the front-desk calendar.
  • Assist staff and clients with obtaining leasing documents from program landlords.
  • Assist with the inspection process as necessary. Keep inspection list updated and work with the Lead Case Manager to complete these as necessary. Assist to follow-up with landlords regarding completion of housing repairs.
  • Assist with QA documents for programmatic needs. Notify case managers or staff members regarding findings.
  • Assistance with processing and pledging month utility invoices for Housing program clients.
  • Assist with ordering supplies for clients and office needs. Work with appropriate staff to keep accurate count of supplies.
  • Assist with CARF readiness of the program.
  • Enter documents into Filebound and the electronic health record.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
