The Family Independence Administration (FIA) provides temporary assistance to individuals and families with social service and economic needs to help them achieve self-sufficiency. This role functions as an Associate Benefits Opportunity Specialist I (ABOS I) and is responsible for supervising a team of Benefits Opportunity Specialist (BOS) staff. The team handles eligibility determination, financial planning, and employment planning and monitoring for individuals in need. The ABOS I utilizes supervisory, program development, quantitative analysis, and research skills to achieve FIA's goals within its Benefits Access Centers and various components.
