About The Position

Purity Dairies is looking for a Case Dock Laborer for our Nashville facility. This role involves performing all-purpose duties, which may include ensuring empty cases are available to production departments to meet production schedules. Responsibilities include maintaining and cleaning all equipment in the assigned area, sliding case stacks from trucks using a milk hook or pallet jack, ensuring conveyor tracks are filled with empty cases to prevent production delays, and confirming the empty case area is full of cases at the end of the shift to assist the next shift. The Case Dock Laborer will be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate effectively with all departments. Purity Dairy is a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), a dairy marketing cooperative owned by over 12,500 family farmers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary.
Must be able to work in a wet environment.
May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
Be able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
