About The Position

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has immediate openings for Case Assistants in its Westchester, New York office. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience. Both full time and part time positions are available for successful candidates.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as close attention to detail.
• Computer skills, particularly experience with Excel, Microsoft Office, FileSite, and iManage.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Comfortable multi-tasking in a team-structured setting.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of PowerPoint, Milana and trial presentation software is a plus.
• Knowledge of court rules, calendaring, e-filing and filing procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• File correspondence, pleadings and other documents.
• Index pleadings and other documents.
• Communicate with clients, the courts, other counsel and vendors.
• Retrieve files.
• Scan documents into iManage system/forward to attorneys and paralegals.
• Assist with preparation for trial, arbitration and mediation.
• Distribute all incoming mail/FedEx.
• Ensure all outgoing mail is routed in a timely manner.
• Process HIPAA authorizations and tend to record acquisition and filing.
