Case Assistant / Entry Level Paralegal
About The Position
Bowman and Brooke LLP is a national product liability boutique law firm with more than 200 lawyers in 17 offices known for defending household name manufacturers of motor vehicles, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and consumer products in high exposure, technically intricate lawsuits and mass torts throughout all 50 states. We are actively searching for a part-time Case Assistant to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This position is the perfect stepping-stone to becoming a case-handling paralegal, offering the training and experience needed to support paralegals and attorneys in fast-paced, high exposure litigation.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- Well-developed customer service skills (internal and external)
- Solid grammar and punctuation skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
- Ability and affinity for adapting with various personalities and work styles
- Experience in a professional office setting required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
Responsibilities
- Analyze confidential client documents for content and description, and prepare production logs re same
- Competency in database entry
- Enter billable time in iTimekeep, on a daily basis.
- Perform other duties, special projects and tasks as assigned.
