About The Position

The Case Aide Specialist will assist Supportive Housing programs through various administrative and case management functions. The Case Aide Specialist will work closely with case managers in providing comprehensive wrap around case management services. The Case Aide Specialist will assist Case Manager and Program Leadership with tasks associated with serving clients and their families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with the goal of increasing their quality of life and maintaining the highest possible ability to function within the community.

Requirements

  • 1+ years case management or support services experience
  • 2+ years in a customer service focused environment.
  • Driver’s License with clear record.
  • Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.
  • Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years preferred experience.
  • Experience with homeless, low income, veterans & their families a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or related field, preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct attempts to locate clients for initial intake appointments including travel to public facilities that clients are known to frequent
  • Conduct client screening assessments
  • Assist with data entry
  • Accompany case managers during monthly home visits
  • Order and deliver move-in essentials after clients are housed
  • Prepare packets of required documentation to process financial assistance
  • General administrative functions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Conduct client interviews
  • Assist with entering information and maintaining databases
  • Running program errands and assist walk in clients
  • Conduct outreach and engagement activities with community partners
  • Communicate with service providers and community stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned.
