About The Position

This is a student employment position within the CAS department, specifically for the Federal Work Study program. The role involves assisting three CAS faculty members with a program evaluation for the CT Department of Public Health’s Menstrual Equity Project. Key tasks include updating contact information for school administrators and staff, corresponding with these contacts, aiding in the scheduling and conducting of focus groups and interviews, assisting with data entry, cleaning, and analysis using Excel, and reviewing data from public government websites.

Responsibilities

  • Updating contact information of administration and staff at CT public schools
  • Corresponding (via email and possibly phone) with contacts at these schools
  • Assist faculty in scheduling and conducting focus groups and/or interviews
  • Assisting with data entry, cleaning, and analysis using Excel
  • Reviewing data available on public government websites (e.g., school size, attendance)
  • Literature review
