About The Position

Flatbed CSR is about more than covering loads—it’s about mastering specialized equipment, navigating regulations, and executing under pressure. This role is ideal for someone resourceful, detail‐oriented, and experienced in heavy haul operations.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in flatbed and specialized freight, including heavy haul and project cargo
• Knowledge of permitting and routing regulations across states/provinces
• Experience working in transportation management systems (TMS)
• Strong negotiation and pricing skills for flatbed, RGN, and step‐deck moves
• Clear communication, customer service orientation, and problem‐solving ability
• Ability to multitask and thrive in fast‐paced, high‐volume environments

Responsibilities

• Source and onboard carriers with flatbed, step‐deck, RGN, and specialized equipment
• Negotiate rates that balance competitiveness and margin protection
• Cover complex loads including oversize, overweight, and project cargo
• Coordinate permits and routing (oversize/overweight permits, escorts, route surveys)
• Track and trace shipments to ensure pickup, transit, and on‐time delivery
• Maintain carrier relationships and expand the specialized carrier network
