  • Experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, customer service, sales, or carrier procurement is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners nationwide.
  • Source and secure truckload capacity to support customer shipping needs.
  • Negotiate competitive carrier rates while maximizing profitability.
  • Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and load boards to book and manage freight.
  • Monitor shipments and provide proactive communication regarding updates, delays, and service issues.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure customer commitments are met.
  • Analyze market conditions and carrier availability to identify capacity opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot transportation challenges and develop creative solutions in real time.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and provide timely updates throughout the transportation lifecycle.
  • Consistently meet activity and performance goals in a metrics-driven environment.
