Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners nationwide.
Source and secure truckload capacity to support customer shipping needs.
Negotiate competitive carrier rates while maximizing profitability.
Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and load boards to book and manage freight.
Monitor shipments and provide proactive communication regarding updates, delays, and service issues.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure customer commitments are met.
Analyze market conditions and carrier availability to identify capacity opportunities.
Troubleshoot transportation challenges and develop creative solutions in real time.
Maintain accurate shipment records and provide timely updates throughout the transportation lifecycle.
Consistently meet activity and performance goals in a metrics-driven environment.
