Requirements

Must have a Utah Life, Accident & Health license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
2-5 years’ experience in employee benefits or related field preferred.
Technically savvy and proficient in Windows 11 and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Maintain broker and agency appointments with all carriers.
Manage broker and agency licensing across all states, including coordinating ExamFX access and supporting employee licensing.
Regularly audit GBS employee access to carrier portals and manage access updates.
Maintain a comprehensive and organized library of all carrier information for internal use.
Communicate carrier rules, guidelines, and updates to appropriate internal departments (quoting, enrollment, eligibility, COBRA, implementations, etc.).
Support Sales and Operations teams with accurate carrier information and documentation.
Conduct research on new carriers and gather required information for onboarding and partnership setup.
Research state-specific insurance rules and regulations to support expansion efforts.
Prepare materials and internal summaries to support carrier discussions led by senior team members.
