The Expo Group is seeking a Carpet Department Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Carpet Department, ensuring inventory is prepared, maintained, and staged to support event schedules. Based in Irving, Texas, this on-site leadership role combines hands-on operational support with team supervision to deliver quality, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of three years of warehouse, flooring, carpet, or event operations experience.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Class A Commercial Driver's License preferred or the ability to obtain certification after hire.
Forklift certification preferred or the ability to obtain certification after hire.
Inventory planning, warehouse operations, team leadership, quality control, communication, problem-solving, Microsoft Office proficiency, and a commitment to safety and customer service.
Candidates must be comfortable operating forklifts and working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise, and other warehouse conditions.
A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License must be maintained if applicable to the position.
All candidates must pass a drug test prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Supervise the daily operations of the Carpet Department while leading and supporting Carpet Associates.
Plan and forecast carpet inventory to meet upcoming event requirements and coordinate with Project Managers.
Oversee carpet preparation, inspection, cleaning, repair, staging, and inventory management.
Maintain quality standards by inspecting carpet inventory and ensuring assets are properly tracked and stored.
Train, coach, and develop team members while promoting a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment while identifying opportunities to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
