About The Position
Tindall Corporation is a leading precast concrete manufacturer with locations throughout the Southeastern U.S. Its mission is to support customers, create remarkable structures, and deliver new solutions. The Carpentry Helper assists carpenters in fabricating, relocating, and placing woodwork for BDS production beds. The role involves helping fabricate wood forms and related components, transporting shop-fabricated wood to production beds, and assisting carpenters with installation. The employee also performs other duties as directed by a supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Tindall job-level training is required by the end of the progression period.
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters in fabricating wood forms, bulkheads, haunches, reveals, and block outs.
- Nail assemblies together and drill holes in block outs and bulkheads for strand access.
- Transport shop-fabricated wood to beds and distribute it.
- Assist carpenters with installing woodwork on beds.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by the supervisor.
