About The Position

Bayland Buildings is seeking a Carpentry Foreman to work alongside crew members completing rough and finish carpentry on commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects in Green Bay and neighboring areas. This is a full-time, year-round position with competitive compensation and benefits at an employee-owned company. The Foreman leads and works with a crew of 3–4 carpenters, maintains safe and quality work practices, and keeps the Supervisor informed about job progress and issues. The role includes completing daily project paperwork and working in a fast-paced environment, including outdoors in variable weather conditions.

Requirements

Read and understand blueprints.
Have leadership and supervisory skills.
Be willing to travel.
Be able to regularly lift heavy objects: 0–50 pounds from ground to shoulder and 0–80 pounds from ground to carry height.
Be able to perform physical labor.
Be able to operate hand and power tools and equipment.
Be able to work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
Be able to multitask and meet deadlines.
Be committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
Have a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.

Responsibilities

Lead and work with crew members performing rough and finish carpentry on commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects.
Frame interior walls; install trim and door frames; hang doors; and install bath partitions.
Supervise, train, and mentor a crew of 3–4 carpenters.
Lead and maintain a safe, quality work culture.
Keep the Supervisor informed of job progress, communicate problems, and problem-solve as needed.
Complete daily paperwork, including daily reports, time cards, and quality control sheets.
Work in a fast-paced environment and outdoors in variable weather conditions.
